Allendale

Allendale, with its roots as a former rural area, has grown into a charming single-family residential neighbourhood in Edmonton. Originally farmed by the Allen family around the turn of the century, it joined Edmonton in 1912 through the amalgamation with Strathcona. While some homes date back to pre-WWI, most of the development took place in the 1950s. Today, Allendale is surrounded by major roads like 104 Street and 109 Street, which are lined with a variety of businesses, adding convenience right at your doorstep. Centrally located, residents enjoy easy access to the University of Alberta, the vibrant Whyte Avenue, and Southgate Shopping Centre, making Allendale a highly desirable place to live.
