Forest Heights

Perched along the southern rim of the North Saskatchewan River Valley, Forest Heights offers its residents breathtaking views of the winding river below, spanning from west to east. With three major roadways hugging its borders and three more traversing its streets, the neighborhood enjoys convenient access to North Edmonton via the valley bridges. Commercial and denser residential areas cluster along these roads, while the interior streets are lined with charming single-detached houses. Initially developed in 1911 by Windsor Realty under the stewardship of James H. McKinley, Forest Heights transitioned from agricultural lands to a thriving residential community in the post-World War II era, with most of its growth occurring during the 1950s.
