Magrath Heights
Magrath Heights, in southwest Edmonton stands as one of the charming neighborhoods within the Terwillegar Heights Servicing Concept Design Brief area. Adopted by the City in 2003, the Magrath Heights Neighborhood Area Structure Plan paved the way for its development, which commenced shortly thereafter. Today, the neighborhood boasts a harmonious blend of low-density residential homes, including single and semi-detached dwellings, complemented by medium-density row housing and low-rise apartments strategically positioned near major roadways and the school site. True to its community spirit, Magrath Heights pays homage to local luminaries like W. J. Magrath, whose legacy as a curling aficionado and community organizer is honored through its streets named after notable figures, including Mr. Massey, Charles May, Joseph MacNeil, Henry Martell, Right Reverend Joseph McMillan Malone, and Louise Crummy McKinney.
