Evergreen
Nestled in northeast Edmonton’s Horse Hill area, Evergreen is a mobile home park bordered by Meridian Street to the east and 167th Avenue to the south. Developed primarily in the 1970s, it boasts a vibrant community spirit with its own league and hall facility. Nature enthusiasts appreciate the park’s proximity to a natural area and creek forming part of the picturesque Horse Hills ravine system. A pipeline corridor crisscrosses the community, providing scenic pathways for residents to enjoy leisurely strolls. While Evergreen offers a serene rural ambiance, it’s also close to Edmonton’s bustling market garden area, making it an ideal blend of countryside tranquility and urban convenience. Despite a tragic tornado in 1987, Evergreen remains resilient, its residents continuing to foster a tight-knit community that honors both its past and future.
